The 2026 Goodwood Revival promises an action-packed weekend of historic motorsport, highlighted by the Stirling Moss Trophy on Friday evening, which will return to its traditional slot to kickstart the event in style. A wide variety of classic cars will take to the circuit across the weekend in fiercely contested races, with drivers showcasing both skill and speed.
Spectators can look forward to fifteen thrilling races, including the return of the Lavant Cup and Brooklands Trophy.
Returning to the Goodwood Motor Circuit for the 2026 Revival, the Stirling Moss Trophy will revert to its traditional slot on Friday evening. Known for welcoming some of the most valuable and beautiful cars in the world, including Jaguar E-Types, Aston Martin DB4GTs and Ferrari 250SWBs, the Stirling Moss Memorial Trophy is a thrilling two-driver, 60-minute race for pre-1963 closed-cockpit GTs.
With a grid of Grand Prix, historic racing specials and Voiturette cars that all raced between 1930 and 1951, The Goodwood Trophy typifies post-war motorsport in this 20-minute-high octane, single seater race.
Paying homage to the original duel at the Goodwood Motor Circuit in 1951, the Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy is for 500cc Grand Prix motorcycles that raced up to 1960. Each bike will be ridden by a pair of drivers who will compete in two races across the weekend for a cumulative result.
Hailed as the fastest and loudest race of the event, the Whitsun Trophy is a staple of the Goodwood Revival. Spotlighting sports-racing prototypes, this 25-minute race will make for some of the fiercest competition across the weekend.
The 2026 St Mary’s Trophy presented by Motul will feature a field of production-based saloon cars that competed between 1960 and 1966. The two-part, 25-minute race will be held across the weekend, highlighted by a fierce contest on Saturday featuring a star-studded VIP driver line-up.
Last appearing at the Revival in 2021, the Brooklands Trophy will return to the Goodwood Motor Circuit for a thrilling 25-minute race, where spectators can expect to see pre-1939 sports cars battling it out in fierce competition.
Retaining its name from the early race meetings at Goodwood, the Glover Trophy assembles an array of Grand Prix cars from 1961-1965, giving spectators an insight into the history of Formula 1 racing at the historic Motor Circuit.
Since its introduction in 1998, the Sussex Trophy has featured in nearly every Goodwood Revival, missing from the schedule only once. This thrilling race showcases the elegant yet powerful World Championship and production sports cars of the 1950s, with iconic machines such as the Lotus 15, Lister-Jaguar Knobbly, and Jaguar D-Type taking to the track.
The Chichester Cup brings together a grid of small but nimble rear-engine, drum-braked Formula Juniors. This thrilling 25-minute race will assemble the cars once driven by the future Formula 1 stars of the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s, some of whom made their names at Goodwood.
Since the Revival’s inaugural event in 1998, the Freddie March Memorial Trophy has featured on every race list. The 25-minute, single driver race will welcome Jaguar C-Types, Aston Martin DB3Ss and Allard J2Xs in a tribute to the Goodwood Nine Hours of the 1950s.
Following success in 2023, the Lavant Cup will return in full force with a spectacular grid of 1950’s Ferrari and Maserati sportscars. Poised to be one of the most glamorous and valuable races, it will celebrate the illustrious racing heritage of both Ferrari and Maserati at the historic circuit.
The Royal Automobile Club TT Celebration brings together closed-cockpit GT and selected prototype cars in a thrilling recreation of the RAC TT contests held at Goodwood from 1960 to 1964. Evoking the spirit and heritage of the Motor Circuit’s golden era, this 60-minute, two-driver showdown sees iconic grand touring cars go head-to-head in the meeting’s most prestigious race.
Honouring a defining period in Formula 1 history, the Richmond & Gordon Trophies will feature front- and rear-engined 2.5-litre Grand Prix cars from 1952-1960. Examples, include the Lotus 16, Maserati 250F and Cooper T51.
