VOLVO 164E AUTOMATIC

From the seller: “VOLVO 164E AUTOMATIC – BARN FIND

HERE IS YOUR WINTER PROJECT, WITH NOT TOO MUCH WORK.

THIS VEHICLE HAS BEEN OFF THE ROAD FOR 20+ YEARS AND HAS BEEN IN DRY STORAGE ( GREENHOUSE).

LAST MOT WAS IN 1998 AND IT HAD DONE 67943 MILES.

STRUCTURALLY THE VEHICLE IS VERY GOOD AND HAS NEVER BEEN WELDED.

WE HAVE SHOWN PHOTO OF THE REAR QUARTER, WHICH IS THE WORST AREA ON THE CAR.

IT WOULD ALSO BENEFIT FROM A NEW BONNET, AS THIS ONE HAS RUST.

THERE ARE SOME AREAS OF RUST AROUND THE WINDSCREEN, BUT HAS NOT GONE THROUGH.

THERE IS A SLIGHT DENT IN THE DRIVERS DOOR, OTHERWISE ALL PANELS ARE GOOD ( EXCEPT BONNET)

IT WILL NEED: 4 X TYRES AS THE CURRENT ONES ARE PERISHED.
A WATER PUMP – BRAND NEW ONE SUPPLIED IN THE BOOT.
A FEW LITTLE ELECTRICAL GREMLINS TO SORT OUT ( MOST PROBABLY DUE TO BEING STORED FOR 20+ YEARS)

IN ITS FAVOUR – IT IS RUNNING, DRIVING AND STOPPING.

IT HAS THE VOLVO 8 TRACK STEREO, WHICH IS VERY RARE. IT ALL LIGHTS UP, BUT I HAVEN’T BEEN BRAVE ENOUGH TO TRY A TAPE.

INCLUDED IN THE SALE IS 100 8 TRACK CASSETTES FROM THE 70’S AND 80’S.”
