Vintage Shell Motor Oil Tin For Sale

If you’re into old cars, chances are the vintage automobilia that accompanied them back in the day will also arouse you’re interest. This 1920/30’s vintage Shell Motor Oil tin certainly made us look when we spotted it on eBay!

What makes this especially interesting to Shell collectors is that it is actually a promotional piece, apparently used to promote sales of pedal cars. There can’t have been that many made, in comparison to standard oil cans, so the fact that it survives is just fantastic. Click on the photos below to expand them and take a closer look.
