Totally Original Raleigh Chopper Mk1 for sale

Talk about perfect! We reckon this Mk1 Raleigh Chopper has weathered well over the course of its 40 years in storage and would be the ideal candidate for an oily rag restoration. Of course, it’s up to you to do what you like with it if you buy it, but we hope the lucky new owner keeps it looking exactly as it does right now. After all, it’s only original once!

From the seller: “Raleigh Chopper Mk1 Totally Original. Date January 1972 brilliant orange chopper

With same owner since the day of purchase in 72. Has spent the last 40 years in the garage.

Everything on the bicycle down to tubes and tyres are original . Nothing has been changed. Pumped up the tyres and amazingly still hold air well. Sissy bar free. Brakes and gears seem to work as well.

The bike will need overhauling, oiling cleaning etc. But with all parts intact will make a great project.”
