The Rover SD1 is a desirable car to many people, but this rare EFi former press car must be the Holy Grail to some!
From the seller: “There are only believed to be 18 EFi examples left today on UK roads. The Vanden Plas EFi was always a rare sight, even back in its day! Only 1,113 cars were produced, compared to 3,897 of its sporting cousin the Vitesse, making this SD1 especially rare.
Formerly a Rover press car, again adding to its value and desirability, confirmed by the very helpful and friendly SD1 car club, whom I would recommend any prospective new owner to join.
This is the highest specification SD1 you could buy back in 1985. Finished in the best colour combination of Black with Grey leather. The car has a large history file, with a selection of invoices dating all the way back to the 1980’s, including main agent service sheets, plus MOT certificates dating back to the 1990’s.
Work done this year includes new A/C compressor fitted and re-gassed with R134A, new gas bonnet struts fitted, engine oil and filter changed, new spark plugs, new water pump fitted and coolant change.”
