Peugeot 205 GTi Rally Car

From the seller: “Welcome to this auction for a Barn Find Peugeot 205 GTi Rally Car.

Car is an H-Plate 1990 205 Gti non sunroof shell, which was converted to a competitive rally car years and years ago (at least 20). It comes with an MSA Competition Car Log Book and Safety Devices roll cage drawings.

This car has just been uncovered and as you can see the paintwork is in poor condition, with heavily cracked and faded paint everywhere, so it will want a respray. There are a few trim panels including the front grille in the vehicle but not attached.

After we uncovered the car we put on a new battery, replaced the cambelt and water pump, replaced all the engine fluids, plugs, distributor, rotor arms, filters etc, ensured that the car turned over cleanly with light oil in all the barrels and it literally started first attempt. Testament to how good these little engines are.”
