PEUGEOT 205 1.9 CTi

From the seller: “205 GTI 1.9 CABRIOLET 1992 75k MILES – PROJECT or MAY BREAK

I’ve owned this car for almost 20 years during which time it has been in dry store. V5 present in my name but no other paperwork came with the car. It was a perfect runner & in good condition. I used it during the summer months after initial purchase since which time it’s been in dry store.

The body shell is predominantly in good structural condition – inside & under the boot floor, under the rear seats are excellent & rust free. Underneath the seam seals & all 4 wheel arches are clean & rust free. Nearside rear quarter panel minor surface rust, sill & ‘B’ post all good. However, the off side ‘B’ post & the immediate sill area have rust coming thru which is superficial & repairable – pls see pic.

There’s a small dent on the n/s tail gate & some minor bonnet defects along the leading edge. Both original front wings need minor cosmetic repairs. The paint work is not too bad but for the sake open disclosure & clarity the pics do unintentionally flatter the paint to some extent. I would therefore recommend viewing. No seats but can supply at extra cost if required. Otherwise most of the interior is complete in good condition just a few minor odd bits & bobs missing.

Engine runs fine, gearbox good & beam unseized & no neggy camber. Fully operational power steering, electric power hood pump in working order & car drives ok round our yard. Needs a new hood as can be seen in the pics (I’m gonns try patching it) & rear window has 2 splits which I’ve sellotaped. up & does look too naff.”
