Jeremy Clarkson’s Grand Tour Audi RS4 For Sale

TV Star’s Audi RS4 from ‘The Grand Tour’ comes to auction – Bidding frenzy expected at Historics’ sale on Saturday 29th November

The most famous Audi RS4 in the world – Jeremy Clarkson’s car of choice on The Grand Tour’s ‘A Scandi Flick’ episode – could be yours.

The stunning 2007 Audi RS flagship is a spectacular last-minute star addition to Historics’ major live auction of 200 enormously varied classic and collector cars at Mercedes-Benz World, Brooklands on Saturday, 29th November.  Unsurprisingly, a bidding frenzy is anticipated, especially as the mouth-watering pre-sale estimate is a modest £28,000-£35,000.

Resplendent in stunning full Audi rally war paint – complete with a veritable ‘light fantastic’ of nine auxiliary rally lamps out front – the RS’s performance is as sensational as its looks that wowed viewers of the Show.

Powered by an intoxicating 4.2 litre V8 – one of the three best engines ever made, according to Clarkson – there’s 414bhp underfoot, sufficient to blast from standstill to 60mph in less than five seconds, accompanied of course at any speed by a rousing sound track.

Inevitably, Clarkson’s exploits with the car were dramatic as viewers of The Grand Tour episode will attest… On location in Sweden, Clarkson and the crew modified their machines, he opting for the iconic Audi rally livery, before taking the car on a road trip across the Arctic circle.

Mission accomplished and back in the UK, any aspects of the car requiring attention were sorted, followed by re-commissioning, servicing, and the application of its fresh eye-catching livery.  The suspension was treated to a total overhaul, with the fitment of a Bilstein B14 coil-over system, whilst the car’s engine was and remains to factory specification – although its secret weapon on The Grand Tour was a flame-throwing exhaust system. Whilst that has been removed for road legality, the highly-fitting registration plate remains the same as on the Show and is sold with the car, increasing its superb provenance as a true collector’s car.

Boasting 74,000 miles and MoT’d in October, this dramatic Clarkson weapon-of-choice is ready to excite its next owner, spark conversations and turn heads wherever it goes –  aided by a recent review by Vicki Butler-Henderson’s You Tube channel, ‘The CAR Girl’.

Further filming of this unique RS4 can be found all over the internet – but why not sit back, watch Episode 1, Season 5 of The Grand Tour and then bid for the very car seen on the Show.

The Historics auction commences at 0930 on Saturday 29 November, preceded by two full viewing days at the spectacular Mercedes-Benz World venue at Brooklands, Surrey. Entry is by catalogue on the door and the auction is streamed live online.
