In July, 2023, UK Barn Finds was invited to film a barn find extraction by Anglia Car Auctions. As our YouTube channel had only just launched a few months earlier, we couldn’t throw the camera into the van quick enough. The resulting videos were uploaded as ‘The Barn Find Of The Decade?’ and many viewers agreed with that sentiment.
The ‘barn find’ in question was one of the most unlikely finds you’ll see and the Barn Find Of The Decade Video Trilogy has already clocked up over one million views on YouTube. Not bad for Elton & Claire, the couple from Suffolk who run UK Barn Finds around their family life, with no sponsors.
“That’s the way we like it,” said Eton Murphy, founder of UK Barn Finds. “We have some great friends in the car industry, such as Anglia Car Auctions (ACA), and being independent has enabled us to experiment with the YouTube side of UK Barn Finds, without feeling obliged to favour any one particular firm, or promote a product unnecessarily. ACA have been brilliant; they are a genuinely friendly business and we love working with them.”
The Barn Find Of The Decade featured the following cars, all found in the small garage and garden of a residential house;
AC Ace AC Ace Bristol AC Aceca Jaguar E-Type Series II x3 Land Rover Series 1 80″ Jaguar E-Type tubs x3
The UK Barn Finds YouTube channel comprises a variety of videos, including barn find extractions, classic car auction news and classic car-related lifestyle vlogs.
