Barn Find Of The Day – 1968 Ford Escort MK1 2-Door

This poor old girl was found languishing in a barn in Portugal a couple of years ago and, having then been shipped to the UK, probably expected to be burning rubber by now. But no, she’s now sitting motionless still, albeit it in a colder country!

This is one of those projects that definitely isn’t for the feint-hearted. Just take a look at the photos and you’ll see what we mean!

That said, if you’re brave, keen, skilled and have some cash and free time to throw at it, a MK1 Ford Escort is always going to be a cool car!

It’ll be interesting to see what the bidding goes like on this one. It’s a low mileage car, but “it’s seen better days” would be an understatement.
