We love to buy classic cars, especially when they are barn finds.
One of our YouTube viewers got in touch. He had a barn find Austin A30 that had been languishing on a farm for decades. Would we like to buy it? Of course we would!
After seeing the photos, a price was agreed and we headed to Surrey to collect the car. It was the middle of winter, just before Christmas, and we wanted to film the extraction, so we employed a local transportation provider who came highly recommended.
Joe Green Transportation & Recovery did not disappoint. Joe quoted a fair price, turned up exactly on time, and was very professional. We hope to work with Joe again.
The extraction, unloading, first wash and various other aspects of this particular Austin A30 are well documented on the UK Barn Finds YouTube channel, so please head over there if you’d like to see this car in detail.
At the time of writing, this car is an ongoing project. Little bits are getting done ‘as and when’. Do you think we’ll get this one started? We certainly hope we do.
If you’ve got a classic car for sale, please get in touch. It doesn’t have to be a barn find. Just fill in the form below, or message us with a few details.
