The Peugeot 405 Mi 16 was an awesome car. If you own one, you’ll probably agree that it still IS an awesome car!
This is a Peugeot 405 Mi 16 promotional video, which we managed to obtain on VHS, featuring a very young and knowledgeable Martin Brundle. The car market was extremely competitive back in the 1980’s and companies like Peugeot would often create mini film reviews of their cars to tempt buyers.
The 405 Mi 16 was the sporty version of an already fantastic executive model and would have definitely appealed to the motorway driver who demanded a bit more in the way of performance.
In this video, Martin Brundle shows just how smooth and capable the 405 Mi 16 was at speed around the Bruntingthorpe Track and then gives an overview of the exterior and interior features of the car. He takes the car for a spin on public roads, too, and leaves no stone unturned when informing the viewer of all the technical data needed to help sway their decision.
Did you ever own a Peugeot 405 Mi 16? If so, please comment on the YouTube video and let the world what you thought of it.
