“You shouldn’t wash a barn find!”
Last time we did a first wash video, we got told off. “You shouldn’t wash a barn find,” they said.
Well, honestly, you try working on a barn find car. You get filthy if you as much as look at it, let alone pop the bonnet and start tinkering.
Frankly, Elton was getting fed up with it being in this ‘untouchable’ state. Something had to be done.
So, after a few disruptions over the festive period, including a little bit of damage from Storm Henk, Claire decided to dust off the Karcher, fire up Edward, grab the AutoGlym and get cracking.
The transformation was fantastic. It took days of scrubbing, but the result is that we now have a car we can work on and feature alongside our other barn find Austin A30.
