We all love a barn find car, but it’s not often we get to see behind the scenes when they’re removed and sent for sale.
In this video, we were invited by Anglia Car Auctions (ACA) to take a look behind the scenes of a barn find collection. We’ve worked with ACA before on barn find extractions, but this one was a bit simpler.
That said, with six cars to collect, there should be something for everyone here….and we nearly lost our drone in the process of filming it!
The video also includes short interviews with the people involved, namely Guy Snelling of Anglia Car Auctions and Neil Gaskins of N G Vehicle Logistics.
If you’re interested in seeing how cars are taken to auction, this video may well appeal.
The cars involved are as follows:
1977 Opel Kadett
1982 Ford Capri 2.0S
1982 Ford Capri 2.8i
1991 Jaguar XJS
1968 Land Rover Series 2A
1952 Austin A90 Atlantic
Seeing a barn find Austin A90 Atlantic was a first for us. It’s an unusual and fascinating car, from a time when the British car industry was desperate to gain a chunk of the export market. We really hope this car gets saved.
