We enjoyed making this video, which resulted from a trip to The Great British Car Journey in Derbyshire, a fantastic visitor attraction that isn’t just a museum of British cars throughout the ages. No, at this place, you can actually DRIVE a classic car and not have to worry about the cost of owning it!
We were invited by The Great British Car Journey, along with a few other YouTube channels, to sample what they have to offer and it was well worth the trip. After the madness of Christmas, frankly, it was a blessed relief.
As you’ll see from the video, the museum itself is worth the trip alone, but Drive Dad’s Car offers so much more. Obviously, it would have been rude of us not to indulge…
If you want to drive a classic car, you really are spoilt for choice at The Great British Car Journey. Whether you fancy a go at the pre-war selection, something a bit more ‘classic’, or a nice retro car, they’ve got it all on offer.
We went retro and selected an Austin 1300GT, Vauxhall Chevette & Ford Capri. It was also interesting to see what the other channels chose. Once you’ve seen our video, please take a look at theirs from the day. Everyone seemed to be having fun…nobody let the Great British Weather put them off.
