Barn Find 1989 Peugeot 405 SRi 1.9

Wow! This looks stunning and well worth further investigation. A great project…

From the seller: “Originally supplied by Steve Jolly Autos of Leek, Staffordshire – these were formerly a Peugeot and Talbot dealer.

Found in a barn in Staffordshire with only a set of keys and its wallet and manuals. It was covered in hay and dust! Unfortunately we have no service booklet with the car.
We have set of original SRi mats
We’ve got it running and it can be driven however there are no brakes so you must slow down with the gears currently. It’ll want recommissioning – new plugs, fresh oil, belts changing etc.
Due to the car being stored in a barn for over twenty years the body of the car is in excellent condition. But as to be expected there are some small amounts of surface rust here and there. The driver wing mirror will need replacing. The underneath is very solid and in good condition.”
