Here’s a car many will never have seen. It may be a project, but how many other Bristol Beaufighter owners do you know?
From the seller: “This is a very rare and the final design of Bristol Beaufighter cars. Powered with a Rotomaster turbo charged V8, it is number 2 of 18 manufactured. It was one of the first manufactured cars in the 80’s to have a turbo fitted. The designers included a unique rear section designed Targa roof, including the forward section made of steel with a works glass sunroof. The other Bristol Beaufighters had GRP roofs.
According to the previous owner (no documents to support), the engine had a new larger turbo fitted with a performance exhaust and higher ratio skimmed heads.
The engine turns over by hand. There are five Star alloy wheels. (two are located in the boot).
