This Ford Cortina MK1 is exactly the kind of car we like to see here at UK Barn Finds. It’s a great find.
From the seller: “1965 Mk1 Ford Cortina 2 door deluxe

Thanks for looking at the auction for this Ford Cortina Mk1. It was registered in Bristol in June 1965 and last taxed in October 1989. I believe that the previous owner bought the car in 2000 but the V5 was not changed so still states “none since Nov 77” when the newer V5’s were issued.
The car is basically complete minus rear screen, rear side windows , speedometer and front grill.. there are some spares inc steering box, heater and a few other bits and pieces
The bodywork is straight and looks very original. The is some corrosion on most panels but nothing too bad and the shut lines are very good.”
