According to the DVLA website, the MOT on this Austin Maestro expired in 2008. That said, the vendor seems confident that it’s roadworthy.
From the seller: “1984 Austin maestro L
1275 A+ engine. 119k mileage
Haynes manual and Mot certificates from 1992 upto 2009, 3 previous owners, Receipts of new parts bought, interior clean for age, very tidy non sunroof shell, the paintwork let’s it down, but there are no signs of rust, runs and drives well however gear selectors need adjusting.
Powder coated wheels with new Goodyear tyres. Fitted towbar and electrics (need wiring)
Would go through MOT, as of next year will be TAX and MOT EXEMPT along with emissions zone restrictions.
I have a couple of really good guys who can transport the car anywhere in the UK if required – just ask.”
