1989 Mini City E – Dry-Stored Since 2004

From the seller: “This Mini City E 998cc,is a 1 family owned car with a genuine 45008 miles on the clock, it has been in dry storage since 2004.

It appears totally original, all panels are factory fitted, so whats needed to get this back on the road?

Both door skins require replacing
Ideally front panel too
Repairs to scuttle, wings will save
Both A panels require replacing
Off side sill replacing front 12″ cutting out and replacing or complete panel if you are a perfectionist
Internally floors are like new. as are the rear companion bins
Boot floor is in very clean non corroded condition
Complete mechanical refurbishment

Interior is undamaged but very dirty, headlining is in as new condition. Clutch is seized but the engine is NOT, it turned over on the key with a jump pack connected. Even the fog light worked!

This is a great father and son project as this is a light restoration project, what you see is what you get, a very genuine car that has only seen a welding torch to apply a small patch to the O/S sill The rear subframe is totally serviceable.

V5 is present as are a set of keys

Engine bay is complete and original even down to the wire hose clips!”
