1985 Volvo 240 GLE Estate for restoration

Despite being stationary for the past 8 years or so, this Volvo 240 GLE Estate seems to have had an easyish life!

From the seller: “The vehicle has been laid up under a carport since 2015. Since 2006 it has averaged 200 miles per year, If you look on the MoT check site, there are numerous advisories such as oil leaks and rubber mounts requiring renewal, so gearbox oil seal and perhaps rear axle oil seal as well. Having been laid up so long, it will need all fluids changed. I can’t find out how to open the rear door; the cargo space has a large plastic liner in it so am unable to see the condition of the rear leather seats. But since it was owned by an elderly couple, they are almost certainly very little used.”
