1985 Citroen CX 25 DTR Turbo

From the seller: “Classic Citroen CX 25 DTR Turbo 1985 spares or repair

During the 1990’s this car took me all round Europe while working on several books about cars. My first commission was to work with the author of Les Grandes Routieres, William Stobbs, who was so impressed with my CX he repeatedly asked me to sell it to him. The car was featured in a further book, you can see the original photo in the listing.

The CX was recommissioned about 20 years ago but sadly put back in the garage and left unused, it now needs recommissioning again.

The engine runs but the clutch is stuck and the suspension rises at the front only. There is some rust on the passenger door pillar but the car is generally in sound condition. The interior has no tears or wear, the roof lining needs replacing.

The number plate is included in the sale.

This car would make a great restoration project.”
