1978 Series 1 Rover SD1 3500 Auto

From the seller: “1978 Series 1 Rover SD1 3500 Auto Avocado Green

The car has been in dry storage for just over 20 years.

3 previous owners V5 Present, no other paperwork, history.

Showing 33k miles and possibly genuine going by overall condition?

New heavy duty battery.

Engine turns over but no fuel to the carbs. Possibly fuel pump issue?

Petrol fed to the carbs and fires ok so should run when pump sorted.

Very rare Series 1 in this colour and has some later parts fitted.

Has been resprayed and sunroof sealed many years ago.

It’s 42 years old and requires work, recommissioning.

Signs of previous welding to both rear outer sills that needs doing again and front inner wings etc.

The underside of the car looks generally very good, outriggers, floors, inner sills.

Small hole in boot floor, passengers inner wing. Some bubbles under the paint in certain areas around the car.

Body is generally very good and the interior is also.

I doubt another will come along like this!”
