1978 Ford Fiesta MK1 with just 141 miles from new!

From the seller: “FOR SALE IS THIS WONDERFUL FIESTA 1.1 WHICH HAS ONLY COVERED 141 MILES IN ITS LIFETIME.

IT WAS BUILT IN 1978 AND NEVER REGISTERED WITH THE DVLA OR IT HAS NEVER BEEN USED ON THE ROAD. THIS VENERABLE FORD FIESTA IS OLDER THAN THE M25. HOWEVER, IF YOU TOOK IT OUT FOR A SINGLE CIRCUIT OF THE LONDON RING ROAD, YOU’D BE CLOSER TO MATCHING THE 141 MILES ITS CLOCKED UP IN ITS LIFETIME.

THIS FIESTA WAS DONATED TO THE LONDON SCIENCE MUSEUM IN 1981 AND HAD BEEN PART OF THEIR DISPLAY UNTIL 2017. HOWEVER, WHEN THE MUSEUM WENT THROUGH A MODERNISATION THIS FIESTA WAS NO LONGER TO BE PART OF THEIR SHOWCASE. THIS TIME WARP FIESTA WAS THEN REMOVED FROM THE MUSEUM AND FORMED PART OF A PRIVATE COLLECTION.

IT PASSED ITS FIRST MOT IN 2017. IT HAS NEVER BEEN USED ON THE ROAD. EVERY PART OF THE CAR IS ORIGINAL. IT HAS NO RUST OR ROT AND HAS ALWAYS BEEN IN THE DRY. EVERYTHING IS ORIGINAL!. IT HAS TWO KEYS AND STARTS ON THE BUTTON. THIS HAS BEEN PART OF OUR OWN PRIVATE COLLECTION FOR THE LAST 3 YEARS AND IS ONLY BEING SOLD AS THE COLLECTION IS BEING SCALED BACK.”
