The Ford Fiesta MK1 is is one of the last remaining ‘affordable’ retro Fords, it seems, and this 1100S is a rare model.
From the seller: “Fiesta 1.1S 1978 for restoration.,ideal project for enthusiast, i aquired in 2017, with good intentions of a full restoration but just havent had time.Believed to be single digits of the 1.1s left, this is a rare model in light blue, 61000 on the clock , car is all complete and original, apart from the rubbing down and replacement arch done by previous owner who started the body, which i planned to completely redo. Was zebarted from new which i think probably saved it. Ive started buying parts as ive seen them over time , ie brakes , suspension, new old stock exhaust , which ive fitted, altenator, so it runs and moves, engine runs lovely and numbers match so original sport engine, which is slighty different to 1.1L , interior is untouched, no cracks in dash, original radio, and ford arial, original parcel shelf with no holes, original keys, original screen and tailgate, being thr sport model theres no chrome to deal with as bumpers and mirrors were satin black, also S sticker decals included i had made, side stripes etc, non locking petrol cap, to sum up, this really is an ideal restoration project for someone with the time”
