1974 Citroen DS 23 Safari

From the seller: “Rare 1974 RHD (UK) semi-auto DS 23 (2347 cc) Safari.

White (Blanc Meije AC 088) with black vinyl interior.
First registered 15/07/1974 – SMP 692M.
Three owners – the previous owner for 35 years.
Chassis number – 00FF3423.
Engine number – 0673008159.
Approximate mileage – 73000 miles.

In 2014 I bought this 1974 semi-auto Safari from the Sanderson family, who had owned the car since 1979. It was generally in good health, although the lower doors had been poorly welded at some point, with some rust on the rear wings and tailgate. Mechanically it appeared to be fine, with no issues during the three hour drive home from Essex to Dorset.”
