1973 Mini 850 project for sale

From the seller: “1973 Classic Mini 850.

Spares or repair, V5 present. Tax and MOT exempt.

It’s a project and in need of full restoration. I bought it many years ago as a project, and have just never got round to doing (too many other projects!).

Non-runner, but the engine turns over by hand. Various random parts missing from the engine, such as top radiator bracket, alternator bracket, cables, wiring loom etc.

Also missing are wiper arms and exhaust.

On the plus side, the car does come with genuine Wolfrace slot mags, wider rear brake drums, bucket seats (which need retrimming), larger capacity fuel tank, and stainless bumpers.

Bodywork wise, the worst bit is the drivers side floor, which needs replacing (see pictures). It is starting to go in all the usual mini places.

It rolls freely, but you will need a trailer to take it away! It’s the perfect winter project, and will keep you busy in the next, inevitable, lockdown!!! Be aware, it is a full restoration project, it is rusty and it is sold as seen!”
