From the seller: “Land Rover Lightweight Series 2a.
Confirmed as built in 1971 so a true 2A Suffix B with lights in the wings not the grille
2.25 lightweight engine (951…) and correct series gearbox present
Axles are correct for this vehicle with shortened half shafts.
Comes with overdrive.
The car is very original and complete. It does have a later 951 engine swap, probably conducted while in service. The only other modification being the civilian rear tow hitch.
Engine runs fine. The gearbox selects ok but is potentially going to need work.”
