From the seller: “Ford escort mk 1 1300 XL 1971. Australian import.
Car is complete, there is the usual rust on the sills and front floor sections. Front floor will need replacing as it’s gone. The rear floor is solid from what we can see. The front wings will need replacing or repairing. The boot lid has been replaced at some point.
Engine is seized, and we can’t get it to turn over.
I recently imported this along with some other cars, I had planned to restore this one but don’t have the time to do all of them.
All tax and duty has been paid, car is on the NOVA database and ready to be registered. All the paperwork I have will be handed over when the vehicle is collected.”
