1970 Morris Minor 1000

From the seller: “First Registered: 22.4.1970
VIN Chassis No.: MAS5D1266741M

We recently had a telephone call from a lovely gentleman who said he had had a Morris Minor tucked away in an old garage for several years. This is the result. We’ve managed to get the car started and it now runs really well but the car hasn’t been taken onto the road. This is the popular 5-door version and would make someone an ideal winter project at a very realistic price.

The car is an urban-barn find and has survived intact and in fairly decent condition too. One thing that’s good about Morris Minors is the parts and know-how are all widely available and therefore very reasonably priced. It’s a car that has a special place in British motoring history, and we don’t doubt someone will be able to restore this particular one to all its former glory.”
