1970 Ford Cortina Mk2 1600e

From the seller: “Cortina 1600E This is the most original one of these cars I have seen

Original paint and hand painted coachline
Been garaged last 25 years and needs full restoration

Bodywork Needs rust repair under bonnet to slam panel and vertical section of wing rail both sides Front wings need repair on bottom where they meet sills There is a hole in floor on drivers side
Also wheel wells in boot area need attention The drivers side rear arch needs repair as there is signs of previous filler

Interior Both front seats have started to crack and perish on outer vynal
(Strange this has just started to happen) seats are the nice export type with cloth inserts

Mechanical All original untested I have no reason to think there will be any problems with basic recommissioning needed Air box has been lost”
