1970 Bond Bug 850 ES

It’s hard to believe that these were once looked down on. Nowadays, many of us would choose a Bond Bug over quite a few more ‘prestigious’ cars!

From the seller: “For sale is this stunning 1970 Bond Bug made in Preston before Reliant who bought Bond Cars moved production to Tamworth. This is a unique opportunity to own 1 of less than 300 bugs on the road and these are an appreciating classic. This has had a complete ground up nut and bolt / full mechanical restoration and has been back on the road since December 2019. This has also just been fully serviced in April 2024. Always stored in my garage and used regularly!

The car is a great example of the Bond Bug, having had every part removed, being refurbished or replaced where necessary. Great care has been taken to keep the car original in its appearance, using original or new old-stock parts where possible. This is not concourse standard but a very high quality sympathetic restoration that allows this car to be used as a daily driver but looks stunning.”
