1969 Reliant Scimitar GTE SE5

From the seller: “1969 Scimitar GTE se5.

This is one of the rare early cars with the vertical filler cap.
It was last on the road 36 years ago and had sat in a barn all that time but the owner has now passed away (hence no V5 or keys)
Its going to need a full restoration, or maybe for spares though seems a shame being no.399.
It rolls freely and the Essex v6 turns over by hand. The gearbox is manual with overdrive, has had 4 previous owners and still “live” with DVLA.

Its pretty much complete with most missing bits in the boot, body is pretty good but as I say needs lots of work including welding in the usual places, though rear axle mounts etc look good.”
