1966 Ford Cortina Mk1 GT

From the seller: “ford mk1 cortina gt 1966

here we have is a mk1 gt ready for a full restoration this have been in the same family since 1968 and has been dry stored since 1984.

there is a huge amount of spare parts and the best history folder you could ever ask for consisting of the original bill of sale every mot from 1969 upto 1984 also every service and repair receipt.

the car had brand new wings and front panel replaced in 1974 and painted to match at a cost of £91 plus receipts for the engine and gearbox rebuild through the years

the shell requires work on both front struts tops both rear arches and some rear chassis where it meets the anti tramp bars

interior is complete and in very good condition all the seats are perfect so is the roof linning, all original gt clocks and gauges are good aslo the centre console and remote gear charger

there is a full set of 5.5j gt rims with an untouched spare in the boot

we have had the car running briefly with petrol down the carb it ran and revved up with no knocks or bangs but needs new plugs and leads etc”
