1965 Riley 1.5 Hot Rod project for sale

What a fantastically unique hot rod, with an amazing back story. And, to cap it all off, a brilliant number plate. We love it!

From the seller: “Unique one off Riley 1.5 Hot Rod Jaguar running gear.

Full chassis build. Built in 1979 by professional engineer John Toye. Originally built with 3.8 Jaguar E-Type engine and Gearbox which has now been removed.

Rear axle is Jaguar IRS LSD and front axle is Jaguar MK2 with XJ6 manual steering rack.

Period American racing slot mag alloy wheels.

Custom interior and roll cage with working chopped windows. Transferrable number plate valued at £5000.

Original engineers report with car from 1979 when the vehicle was built. Overall solid car requiring cosmetic bodywork repairs and full respray.”
