1947 Morris 8 Series E For Sale

With an interesting plate, DPY 66, this little barn find Morris 8 Series E caught our eye.

According to the DVLA website, this particular Morris 8 was first registered on the 20th January, 1947 and the road tax expired in May, 1988!

The DVLA site usually tells you when a V5C was last issued for a car. In this case, it doesn’t know, so we’re guessing it was a while ago!

Details on the listing are sparse, but the seller does state that it runs, which is definitely a bonus. We reckon it could well be worth a punt.

It stands around 77cm tall, sits on a marble plinth and weighs an absolute ton. Well, perhaps ...
