What an incredible time-warp find! This 1982 Vauxhall Cavalier SR looks to have been preserved particularly well and is a runner. You won’t see many others like this for sale!
From the seller: “A totally unique opportunity to own a very rare car. This Vauxhall Cavalier was first registered in 1982 and is one of the first in a long line of sporty Cavaliers, being one of the first it is the SR non injection model and is in the even rarer Pampas colour with black Recaro interior.
What makes this car so unique is that it is a true time warp survivor, first registered as a company car for Duckhams Oil in 1982 it was used by the same person until they retired in 1985 and bought the car from the company. It remained in their ownership until they could no longer drive and put the car in storage. Quite uniquely the car was put up on several wooden planks which must of prevented corrosion some how as it is still completely solid even after all these years.
It really is time warp with nothing being changed or modified and comes with all its keys (including the Duckhams key ring), service book, hand book and old style V5 showing just the 1 previous company owner.”

This Fiat Panda auction result looked, for a moment, as though it might turn into a proper little battle. And you could understand why.
