A Pair Of Honda S800 1-Owner Cars!

This is one of the most amazing finds we’ve seen for a while – TWO Honda S800 one-owner cars with consecutive registrations!

From the seller: “Here we have a pair of these Honda S800s. If you don’t know about them they are called S800 because they have a 800cc engine with 4 carburettors! Weighing just over 700kg and 70hp this was the fasted RWD production car of its time in terms of power to weight ratio!

I’ve listed these as a pair as it would be such a shame to separate the ‘sisters’ as I call them because of their consecutive registrations, but they can be purchased separately if I get the right money.

So the green one has 27,000 miles and is probably the better one out of the two (bodywork wise) but has been resprayed at some point, the interior is in as new condition. There is some very light surface rust to the paintwork. It has been sitting since 1972 but driven round to the local council garage in the late 80s and stored in a dry garage, so bear this in mind before purchasing. it was stored with sheets over the seats and dash which has clearly done its job to keep it in great condition. Engine turns freely but I have been advised not to start it as these engines are fragile.”

By the time the car finally returned to the road in 2024, […]

But with a £9,000 to £11,000 estimate, we wondered whether its sheer quirkiness might make it a difficult thing to value. We were […]

One Of Our Strangest Purchases Yet: A 77cm Spirit Of Ecstasy

We buy some strange things. Usually they have wheels. This one doesn’t. Today’s purchase is probably one of the more unusual motoring-related objects we’ve brought home: an enormous reproduction of the Rolls-Royce Spirit of Ecstasy. It stands around 77cm tall, sits on a marble plinth and weighs an absolute ton. Well, perhaps ...
