A picture paints a thousand words, or something like that, and the photos of this 1971 Reliant Scimitar GTE SE5 are testament to that!
From the seller: “Reliant Scimitar SE5 1971 project
Barn find !
I originally bought this to break for a few parts I require for my own, but it’s too good to break and would be a shame to do so.
Automatic. This was going to be converted to manual but previous owner didn’t get round to it. I have a manual gearbox available if someone wishes to convert.
Car is 90% complete. All I can see Missing is fuel tank and front seats, brake master cylinder and vacuum servo.
Chassis from what I have seen is pretty solid – it has had the usual problem areas repaired previously.
Exhausts require attention – there is a pair with it. Not fully stainless. I have a full stainless pair from down pipes to back if required at extra cost.”
